The following terms and conditions were introduced May 16th 2017. Terms last updated May 31st 2018.
Rights: After paying all fees the client will gain full rights to any work done including any future reproduction through commercial printers. Kinship reserves the right to use any work produced for future promotional purposes.
Ownership: The client will own all final artwork created during the project upon full payment of the agreed fee.
Third Parties: If we need to use a third party-for example photographers or web developers-you will be advised of this at the start of a project. The client will still retain ownership after payment has been made.
Communication: Kinship can be contacted Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm GMT. Skype chats can be arranged. Communication outside of these hours is at Kinship’s discretion.
Payment: To be made within 30 days of invoice issue date via BACS or cheque. We are unable to accept payment over the phone. Kinship may ask for a non-refundable downpayment prior to any work commencing. This will be done on an individual basis and the client will be advised in advance before any such request is made. Payment is not to be delayed or excused based on the availability of funds to the client from a third party. Payments subject to extended delays may be transferred to our debt recovery department. The client will be notified prior to any action being taken.
Cancellation: If client communication (face-to-face, telephone, or email) stops for a period of 60 days after a project has begun Kinship can cancel the project in writing and Kinship will retain all design rights. A cancellation fee may be issued including a fee based on any work done.
Indemnity: The client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kinship from any and all claims, demands, losses, causes of action, damage, lawsuits, judgements, including attorneys’ fees and costs, but only to the extent caused by, arising out of the work supplied by Kinship.
Consensus: A copy of these terms will be supplied with any issued creative design brief. Questions are to be directed to Kinship.

Kinship needs basic contact information to communicate with clients and to issue invoices. Kinship may use this information to create a client account.
Kinship needs basic contact information and bank details to pay suppliers. Kinship may use the basic information provided to create a supplier account.
We do not share any information supplied.
Our accounting software is cloud-based and uses industry standard encryption. Data backups are also cloud-based and password protected using AES-256 encryption.
By choosing to work with Kinship, suppliers and clients consent to us possessing this information.
Clients and suppliers can request a copy of any information held by contacting Kinship.
Purchases through our store are facilitated by Paypal. By using Paypal, customers will be bound by Paypal's terms and conditions. Kinship will not add customers to a mailing list and we do not offer the creation of customer accounts. Kinship will only use basic contact information provided by Paypal to fulfil purchases made through our store and for invoicing and accounting purposes. This information will not be shared.
Kinship provides external links to our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts on our homepage. We collect no data from these links. By using them, visitors will be bound by the terms and conditions of each site.
In order to minimise data collection through our website we have opted to disable Squarespace's Activity Log. As a result this website doesn't collect or see visitors IP addresses or other personal data. Visitors will not see a cookie banner displayed as we have disabled Squarespace's Analytics Cookies. These will not be placed in visitors browsers.
